Practical Life
The Practical Life area is rich with a variety of exercises
for the child. The child gains a specific skill from each
excercise. Some of the basic excercises include polishing,
spooning, pouring and sorting. This work leads to the
development of important habits such as tidying up by
returning materials to the shelf, making choices and leaving
equipment ready for the next person.
